# General Settings

> Org-level basics: name, logo, timezone, landing page, email, org switcher, onboarding

**Organisation Settings -> General** is where you configure the top-level org basics that apply across every community.

## What's here

## Org switcher

If your account belongs to multiple orgs, the top-nav org switcher (#2419, #2379, #1172, #1213) jumps between them. Cookies are isolated (#1416) so switching never leaks data.

## Org onboarding

New orgs go through a simplified onboarding flow (#728). Domain settings and initial community creation are integrated into the first-run experience.

## Landing page

The landing page header (#823, #1146) controls the hero image / tagline members see when they land on your org's public URL before picking a community. Configurable per brand.

## Email settings

Custom email sender is configured in the general settings with a platform-default fallback (#1571, #1671). See [Email Configuration](/admin-guide/settings/email-configuration).
