The timer on the asset shows how long you have left. ## How it behaves * The timer starts when the asset is **allocated** to you (not when the reward was first created). * When it reaches zero, the asset transitions to **Expired** and can't be redeemed. * Expired assets remain visible in your wallet for reference. ## Where it shows * On the asset card in the wallet. * On the asset detail page. * Optionally on the spotlight / featured card when the reward carries an expiry. ## Allocation without redemption If a reward was allocated to you but the community allows immediate use (no sign-in required to claim), the expiry timer starts at allocation. You don't need to log in or refresh — the clock is already counting. ## What to do Redeem sooner rather than later. If you can't redeem in time, the asset expires and the points (if spent) are not refunded — check the community's redemption policy if you think something went wrong. ## Related How to redeem.
