A

Achievement : A milestone or accomplishment that users earn through specific actions or reaching certain thresholds. Achievements often come with badges, titles, or special rewards. Action : An individual task or activity within a challenge. Examples include answering a quiz, sharing content, uploading a photo, or watching a video. Action Participation : A record of a user completing a specific action within a challenge. Admin : A user role with permissions to create and manage communities, challenges, and rewards. Analytics : Data and insights about user engagement, challenge performance, and community health. API : Application Programming Interface - allows developers to integrate Nudj features into other systems. Asset (Reward Asset) : A guaranteed reward that users can redeem using points. Assets have defined quantities and availability.

Badge : A visual achievement indicator displayed on user profiles to showcase accomplishments. Bonus Points : Additional points awarded for special circumstances like streak maintenance or speed bonuses.

C

Campaign : A coordinated set of challenges and rewards designed to achieve specific engagement goals. Challenge : A collection of one or more actions that users complete to earn rewards. Also known as a quest. Challenge Group : A collection of related challenges organized together for easier navigation. Community : A branded space where users engage with content, challenges, and each other around shared interests. Community Manager : An admin responsible for day-to-day community engagement and content creation.

D

Dashboard : The administrative interface for managing communities, viewing analytics, and creating content. Distribution : The process of awarding rewards to users, either manually or automatically. Draw Date : The scheduled date when winners are selected for entry-based rewards.

E

Engagement : User interaction with platform features including challenge completion, social features, and content consumption. Entry (Reward Entry) : A chance to win in a prize draw or giveaway. Users can accumulate multiple entries. Experience Points (XP) : Non-spendable points that accumulate to show user status and determine leaderboard position.

F

Feature Flag : A toggle that enables or disables specific platform features for testing or gradual rollout. Feed : The main content stream showing recent challenges, community updates, and social activity.

G

Gamification : The application of game-design elements (points, levels, competition) to drive engagement. Giveaway : A reward distribution method where winners are randomly selected from entry holders.

I

Integration : Connection between Nudj and external systems or platforms.

L

Leaderboard : A ranking system showing top performers based on XP or other metrics. Level : A tier or rank achieved by accumulating XP or completing specific requirements. Limited Time Challenge : A challenge only available for a specific duration.

M

Member : A user who has joined a specific community. Mission : A long-term objective composed of multiple challenges or achievements. Multi-Action Challenge : A challenge requiring completion of multiple different actions.

O

OAuth : Authorization framework for delegated access; authentication for login flows is typically provided by OpenID Connect (built on OAuth 2.0). Organisation : The brand or company that owns and manages communities on Nudj.

P

Platform Config : System-wide settings that affect the entire Nudj installation. Points : Spendable currency earned by completing challenges and used to redeem rewards. Poll : An action type where users vote or express preferences. Post : Content created by admins or users within a community. Prize Draw : A lottery-style reward where winners are randomly selected. Profile : A user’s personal page showing achievements, statistics, and activity.

Q

Quest : Another term for challenge, emphasizing the adventure/gaming aspect. Quiz : An action type where users answer questions to test knowledge.

R

Recurring Challenge : A challenge that resets periodically (daily, weekly, monthly). Redemption : The process of exchanging points for reward assets. Reward : An incentive users earn through participation, either as an asset or entry. Reward Inventory : The available stock of reward assets.

S

Social Share : An action type requiring users to share content on social media platforms. Streak : Consecutive days or instances of participation, often with bonus rewards. Super Admin : The highest admin level with full platform configuration access.

T

Tag : A label used to categorize and organize content, challenges, or users. Team : Admin users who collaborate to manage a community or organization. Template : Pre-built challenge, reward, or community configurations for quick setup. Theme : Visual customization including colors, fonts, and branding for communities. Third-Party Config : Settings for external service integrations. Tier : A level within a progression system, often unlocking new privileges. Token : Authentication credential for API access.

U

Unlock : Making a challenge or reward available after meeting certain requirements. User : Any person with an account on the platform. User-Generated Content (UGC) : Content created by community members rather than admins.

V

Variable : Dynamic content that changes based on user or context (e.g., ). Verification : Process of confirming action completion or user identity.

W

Webhook : Automated notification sent to external systems when events occur. Widget : Embeddable Nudj components for external websites. Winner : User selected to receive an entry-based reward.

X

XP (Experience Points) : Cumulative points showing user progress and status that cannot be spent.
