Campaign teams can now style the widget by clicking the element they want to change, tailor section button copy, and keep light and dark themes in step. Members get consistent renamed point labels across languages and can make their cookie choice inside the community rules flow.
This release makes widget setup much easier to judge and much faster to adjust. Brand Kit previews now take you straight from a widget element to its matching colour control, while Ask Nudj’s style mode lets you click any supported element, try a new colour, and see the result immediately before saving it. It also gives campaigns more control over the words members see. Teams can name section buttons in the language of the campaign, those labels render across the widget’s supported layouts, and renamed points no longer fall back to the default language. When first-party cookie consent is required, members can answer that question inside the community rules dialog instead of working through a separate onboarding step.

  • Click-to-edit brand colours – Select an element in the Brand Kit widget preview to open its matching core or advanced colour control.
    • Check: the light and dark widget previews, including the colour controls you use most often
  • Ask Nudj style mode – Click a rendered widget element, choose the colour role to edit, preview the change live, then save, reset, or cancel it without leaving the preview.
    • Check: the Ask Nudj widget preview in both light and dark modes
  • Editable section button labels – Set the main button copy for Earn & Spend, Earn, Spend, Achievements, Leaderboard, Daily Game, Streak, Referral, and Receipt Scanning sections.
    • Check: the live widget preview and the published widget for each section whose copy changed
  • Consistent point naming controls – Edit the point name, plural name, and abbreviation from one set of settings values, with the chosen values reflected in the widget preview.
    • Check: the points settings preview after changing the singular, plural, and abbreviation

  • Cookie choices during community entry – When first-party consent is required, choose to accept, reject, or manage cookies inside the rules dialog before continuing.
    • Check: first-time entry to a community where cookie consent is enabled
  • Renamed points in every language – Keep the community’s chosen point name, plural, and abbreviation when viewing the widget in a non-default language.
    • Check: the widget in a non-default language after custom point names are saved

Match button copy to a campaign

Open Widget Settings or Ask Nudj, edit the section header, and give its primary button a label that matches the campaign. For a referral campaign, you might change the default button to Invite a friend.

Tune a widget colour from the preview

Open Brand Kit and select the widget colour editor. Click the part of the preview you want to change, choose the light or dark palette, adjust the colour, and save when the preview looks right. In Ask Nudj, turn on style mode for the same click-to-edit workflow across supported widget elements.

Technical details

  • Added the member-facing cookie choice card to the community rules flow when first-party consent is required, with accept, reject, settings, and keyboard-friendly focus coordination.
  • Kept the rules agreement locked until the cookie decision is made, then moves the agreement and confirmation controls into view on smaller screens.
  • Passed custom section button labels through the populated, empty, loading, and error states that expose those buttons, while preserving accessible names.
  • Preserved configured point names, plural names, and abbreviations when the widget switches to a non-default locale.
  • Added the preview-only colour-picking and style-mode message handling used by admin previews.
  • Added click-to-edit colour picking to Brand Kit previews. The preview identifies the selected colour role and opens the matching basic or advanced colour field, including the selected light or dark mode.
  • Added Ask Nudj style mode with live draft updates, token selection, save and cancel behavior, reset-to-default controls, and automatic readability adjustments for foreground colours.
  • Shared section header editing between Widget Settings and Ask Nudj, including visibility, title, description, and supported primary button labels.
  • Made points naming read from and write to the value that takes precedence across the widget configuration and language configuration.
  • Added ctaText to the panel read and update contract for sections that have a primary button, with validation for unsupported sections and null reset behavior.
  • Extended the shared model, generated API client, and Shopify widget configuration types so the section copy shape stays aligned across consumers.
  • Added translated consent, style-mode, and colour-update messages across the supported design-system locales.
  • Carried recent nightly test results into the lane team digest and added coverage for the digest’s run, issue, and assignment handling.
  • Kept authenticated nightly smoke recordings on access-controlled run artifacts and narrowed the nightly report to its durable failure record.
