Posts can be featured (pinned to the top of the feed) or scheduled (published at a future time). Both are configured in the post studio (#1123, #1963).
Featuring a post
In the post editor (#1930):
- Toggle Featured on.
- Featured posts stick to the top of the feed during their Live window.
- Only one post can be actively featured at a time — new featured posts unfeature old ones.
Scheduling
Set a future start date on the post. Post goes from Draft -> Scheduled automatically. At the start date, it flips Live and (if featured) pins to the top.
Scheduled posts can’t be flipped directly to Live without resetting the start date. Nudj prevents accidental early publishes.
Studio layout
Posts use the same studio layout (#1963) as challenges, rewards, and achievements: form step sidebar, rich editor in the middle, live preview on the right.
See Creating Posts for the full studio flow.
Pairing featured posts with content
Featured posts are most effective when paired with actionable content:
- Featured post announces a new challenge -> challenge links from the post.
- Featured post introduces a new reward -> member sees and taps to check out the reward.
- Featured post for a time-limited event -> urgency + one-click CTA.
Best practices
Rotate featured posts — don’t leave the same featured post up for weeks. Members stop seeing stale content.
Use scheduled posts to time content with timezones — 8am local time in your biggest region is usually the engagement sweet spot.
