A leaderboard can be configured with a window that defines the timeframe it counts XP over. Common types:

Daily

Counts XP earned since midnight in the organisation’s timezone. Resets each day.

Weekly

Counts XP earned since the start of the ISO week in the organisation’s timezone. Resets each week.

Monthly

Counts XP earned since the start of the calendar month in the organisation’s timezone. Resets each month.

All-time

Counts every XP point you’ve ever earned in this community. Never resets.

Scheduled

A one-off leaderboard with explicit start and end dates. Before the start it shows a coming-soon state with a countdown; after the end it finalises winners and archives.

What happens at reset

At the end of a daily / weekly / monthly window, the leaderboard rolls over. If prizes are attached, they’re distributed automatically to the top-placing members when the window closes. Your all-time XP is unaffected by the rollover.

Which communities show which

Communities pick which leaderboard windows to surface. Some show only all-time; others show multiple tabs (daily / weekly / monthly / all-time). Your community’s leaderboard screen will only show the windows it has configured.
