The Notifications tab in your profile settings lets you toggle which notifications you receive from a community. Notifications typically arrive via email; some communities may also support in-app notifications.

Where to find it

  1. Open your profile.
  2. Select the Notifications tab.
The tab lists each notification type the community has enabled, with a toggle per type.

Notification types

Each community decides which notifications are enabled. Common categories include:
  • Challenge reminders.
  • Reward availability or allocation.
  • Redemption expiry warnings.
  • Streak reminders.
  • Leaderboard updates.
  • Achievement unlocks.
  • Admin / community announcements.
The exact labels depend on the community’s configuration.

Opting out

Toggle off any notification you don’t want. Your preference is saved to your account and applies across future notifications of that type. You can re-enable at any time.

Transactional vs marketing

Some notifications are transactional — for example, a receipt when you redeem a reward. Transactional notifications can’t always be disabled because they’re part of the core product flow. If a toggle is missing, it’s because the notification is transactional.

Notifications honour your language preference when the community has translations configured for that notification type.
